ANGKOR HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN in Siem Reap is one of Cambodia's top pediatric hospitals and a leader in medical training and pediatric research, all vital roles in a country that is still recovering from the long-term devastation of civil war and genocide. MUSIC FOR EVERYONE is a free music school for Cambodian children based in Siem Reap. Master teacher and general badass Shila Ponlok teaches children who love music but lack the basic instruments needed to practice. Learn more HERE.

KENYA
TUSHINDE is a charity working in the Mathare slum of Nairobi that reaches over 250 vulnerable children and their families. We partner with them to bring free holiday camps. Learn more HERE.
ESWATINI
Baylor-Swaziland operates a clinical Center of Excellence (COE) in Mbabane as well as Satellite Centers of Excellence in Manzini, Bulembu and Hlatikulu. In addition Baylor-Swaziland operates a pediatric Tuberculosis (TB) center of excellence. Baylor-Swaziland is the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) primary pediatric HIV/AIDS and TB (Including MDR TB) care and treatment provider, battling against the highest HIV prevalence in the world (41% among mothers aged 15-49, receiving antenatal care) and caring for almost half of all children on antiretroviral therapy (ART) in the country. Our clinics provide child-focused and family-centered HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment services; tuberculosis screening, control and treatment; and treatment for other concurrent diseases. Baylor-Swaziland also provides integrated, comprehensive women’s health services to women with HIV, including family planning and cervical cancer screening.
GREECE
DIAVATA REFUGEE CAMP is located 30 minutes outside downtown Thessaloniki. Of the 1,000 tenants, 307 of them are children between the ages of 0 and 14. We were privileged enough to be invited in to work with them. Learn more HERE.
QUICK RESPONSE TEAM is an Italian based NGO that fields volunteers to locations in crisis. They began working in Greece to aid refugees in 2015. Our QRT field coordinator, Maurizio, helped us gain access to permits to enter Diavata and connected us with ministry and operations personnel during our stay.
